First of all, the pictures on the site are what persuaded me to contact AJ's HOWEVER there is no picture that can accurately depict how fantastic my cake was when it arrived. I ordered a Thomas the Tank Engine cake from Amy and spent the next month or so torturing her with questions and changes up until a week before my event. I finally had to tell her to cut me off and just make the damn cake I originally requested. Amy was a consummate professional and patiently responded to all of my neurotic email. It probably took her more time to deal with me then actually create my cake; perhaps she bakes that into her margins.....The cake was pricey- but people, you get what you pay for and this cake was well worth it. ~ Michelle

The cake was AMAZING!!!!!! People were surprised on many levels, one that it was actually a cake and two they figured anything that looked that good would not taste so good.

Once everyone finally believed that it was really a cake, they all looked forward to seeing how it tasted. And they were surprised, it tasted as good as it looked. Many people went back for second and thirds and the caterers were amazed that there were no left overs for them to box up, apparently that's a rarity. Thank you for a fantastic cake. You took all my ideas and fit them in to the cake beautifully. It told my wifes life story from the bottom to the top. My wife was so surprised when you brought the cake in. I thought she was going to cry as she tried to take in all the different aspects of the cake. It was a hit all night, all our family and friends loved the cake and had a great time trying to figure out the story and all the different figures. My daughters kept the dalmatian and the mustang, they are sitting in our fridge. Everyone loved the 21st birthday earthquake cake, the family loved the flags, and the colors were beautiful. We sang 'happy birthday' my wife blew out the candles and it took 20 minutes before she talked herself into cutting such a beautiful cake. Then we got to eat the cake, I love chocolate but the lemon poppy seed was great. Luckily for me that was the largest tier and the only tier with some left over. I'm still eating a sliver a night to this day. Thank you again for all your hard work, it was greatly appreciated. ~ AJ

The cougar was a HUGE hit. People in the restaurant were crazy for it. Someone thought it was a toy car they were stunned when they found out it was cake.
